CMA Modules

CMA Modules have started; they say we need to spend roughly 10 hours a week on reading which isn't too bad at all.

What kills it, though, are the assignments.  The Nationally Marked ones take a LONG time to complete!  Since last week, i've spent roughly 30+ hours on Assign # 3, and that is on top of working 7 days a week.

On the flip side, the modules are quite fun and i'm looking forward to the Interactive Sessions in a few weeks.

PS: Happy 30th, Shiraz!

CMA National Entrance Exam

I wrote that National Entrance on June 16, 2009.  The 4-hour exam consisted of 101 questions; half of these questions were qualitative, the other half quantitative.

Best way to prepare for the exam is by doing the sample and previous exams over and over.  Roughly half the exam had types of questions that I had already seen previously.

In order to prepare for the qualitative portion of the exam, be sure to complete all your readings.  There are roughly several hundred pages of them, yes, but they're not what i would consider "dry reading."

Given that the exam is curved, i'm not sure how well i did.  My raw score may not be 60%, but i'm fairly certain it's very close to it.

Can't wait for the exam marks...

No time for fantasy

Been so busy with work and school, i've got no time to play fantasy basketball.

Sunrun is in 11 days; hopefully i get a run or two in b/w.  I ran 60 minutes on a treadmill this past Sunday, and could only run 5.36 miles.  Yikes!

I'm not going for time this time around.  Just gonna enjoy the scenery, and have fun running alongside Rodney.

Let's Go

Came across that Shawn Desmond's song.  Reminds me so much of Spring '05, possibly the best semester of my university life.

Anyways RN, not sure if you're reading this, but if you are, call me as i lost your phone #!

And good luck to you all in your upcoming Mid-Terms.
